"I am ninety per cent sure she will get better if we were to transfuse human blood into her bloodstream instead of animal blood," The doctor replied in an instant.
As she waited to see Stephanie's reaction she hid her trembling hands behind her back.
"And I will hold you to your word. Peradventure it turns out you were lying, I promise you that I will give you the most painful death you have ever heard of," Stephanie retorted.
She turned to leave but Irene grabbed her hand and pulled her back.
