"I said what is wrong?" Tania repeated her words.
If not for Tania's moving lips, Brittany would have assumed the little girl was playing a trick on her.
"Did you say something?" Brittany demanded. It was then it dawned on her that even though she talked that she couldn't hear her voice.
"What is wrong with me?" Brittany muttered. She rubbed her ears and spoke assuming this might help but the result remained the same.
Not only did she discover she has lost her sense of hearing but even her ability to perceive scents from miles away was gone.
