"Drop it over there," He pointed his hand at the right-hand side of the room where a brown table that served as Brittany's dressing table lay.
As he instructed her, he didn't take his eyes off the unconscious Brittany for a split second.
"I would have loved to do that but the lady who delivered it instructed me to make sure that you opened the box," Sarah muttered, conflicted about what to do.
"Did she say that?" He murmured. For the first time in hours, he shifted his gaze from Brittany's body to where Sarah stood.
He stared at the brown box wondering who on Earth would send him a gift at that hour of the day.
When he couldn't come up with an answer he decided to check out the content of the box and get over with it.
"Give it to me," He commanded. He reached out his right hand towards where Sarah stood.
Instantly, Sarah moved closer and placed the brown box in his hand. She moved a few steps backwards afterwards.
