Brittany recognized this was a losing battle but she still forged ahead. She has come too far to quit just because of fear.
She was about three steps away from touching him when he suddenly snapped his finger.
Instantly, she was hurled against the wall by an invisible force.
"Whoever told you that you stood even the tiniest chance against me?" Alexander growled, his right hand lifted in the air.
Seeing his raised hand Sarah knew without being told that he would attack Brittany again.
At that moment her mind ran wild as she tried to think of what to do to save the situation.
"My Lord, please have mercy on her," Sarah implored when she saw him lower his hand ready to attack Brittany.
She was so relieved he halted and switched his attention to her instead.
