"I wasn't the one. I entered the room when I got there and didn't knock on the door...,"
"But how is that possible. Someone was at the door just before you entered so how come you didn't see anyone there? Was it a ghost?" Gabrielle asked looking very confused.
Was it perhaps Demon King's minions responsible for this? Were they perhaps planning to harm Brielle and I happen to arrive in time to disrupt their plans?
Charlie was absent-minded as he tried to make Gabrielle sit on the bed.
In the process, his hand unintentionally touched the IV pin causing Gabrielle to let out a cry of pain.
"Ouch... that hurts. Can you watch what you are doing," Gabrielle said as she stared at his face?
"What's wrong? Did something...,"
"If someone was here and even dared to knock then why didn't Stephanie do something about it? How come she is still fast asleep?" Charlie asked surprised to see Stephanie still sleeping.
