Vincent walked over to the bed without suspecting anything since they weren't acting awkward.
"Elle, sorry but I have to leave right now. Something important came up...,"
"You are leaving for the office?" Gabrielle asked unhappily.
"It's just a minor operation you underwent so you don't have to act like a crybaby...,"
"I am not saying this for myself but Steph. I thought you said you were gonna take the day off to be with her so why are you suddenly talking about work now?" Gabrielle asked sounding upset.
"Were you perhaps pretending to miss her these past days...,"
"Elle, you know what you are saying is not true," Vincent refuted her words firmly.
"I thought I knew your feelings for her in the past but right now I am beginning to doubt whether you love her...,"
"Elle!" Vincent shouted angrily. Stephanie and Charlie can swear that this is the first time they have seen Vincent raise his voice at his beloved sister.
