"Do you think so little of him? Do you think he is the type who will do such a thing to someone he considers a friend?" Charlie interrupted Sophia sharply. He leaned on the car parked just behind him.
"Also, haven't you noticed for a while now that Gael doesn't hang out with other women lately but instead spends most of his time with you...,"
"So what if he does spend his time with me that doesn't mean anything and I am sure he is this way because he has no other choice but to live low key since Demon King's men are after us," Sophia said sternly not convinced by what Charlie said.
"Also what if I muster up the little courage left in me and confessed my feelings to him and he blatantly rejects me the same way you rejected Gab in the past, what would you have me do?" Sophia asked. She could no longer mask her emotions behind that cold facade. She turned her back on Charlie.
