"Even before we got separated she never did away with the bracelet. I want to get her a bracelet to replace the one my father gave to her. I know this cannot be compared to the bracelet my father gave her but at least she won't feel heartbroken each time she stares at the bracelet I will give her," Alexander said emotionally. Not even Mabel who knew him inside out could tell whether or not the cruel guy was pretending or telling the truth.
Alexander's sad tale got to Gabrielle. The reluctance on Gabrielle's face disappeared the moment she heard his story.
"Isn't it just to choose which out of the two bracelets is better? I will help you so there is no need to get so emotional about it," Gabrielle tried to sound as carefree as she could but her tone still sounded awkward.
