Alexander kept questioning Brittany. The demon king who wouldn't waste even ten minutes of his time talking spent over thirty minutes talking to Brittany.
Even when she went against his rule he didn't kill her or take away her ability to talk like he earlier threatened her.
"Since you said you are a newly turned vampire that means you should be bad at fighting despite your newfound abilities but how were you able to give my men such a tough time earlier?" Alexander asked the lady whom he had made drop her guard around him.
"Were you a police officer or part of any special forces?" Alexander asked seeing how quiet the lady has become after his question.
"My job was nothing special. Because I was often bullied my brother taught me some cool moves for self-defence purposes," Brittany replied. She looked a bit relaxed now compared to how scared she was earlier.
Her words reminded Alexander of his first encounter with Stephanie.
