Stephanie didn't follow the lady immediately. She took a careful look at the restaurant and its surroundings to make that nothing fishy was going on.
She followed the waitress's lead after confirming that the restaurant was temporarily safe.
The waiter leads Stephanie half through the stairs only to abruptly pause.
"I can only lead you to here. The one you are looking for is just right ahead," The lady said pointing at the direction she should take.
"But...," the waitress walked past Stephanie before she could comment.
"What the hell is wrong with her? I wonder why she is acting mysterious," Stephanie said looking ahead of her towards the direction the waitress had earlier pointed to.
Curious to see this to end, Stephanie continued climbing the stairs. The moment she finished climbing the stairs and stepped into the darkness, the light at that spot she stood came on and a purple rose laid in form of carpet became visible on the floor.
