Stephanie felt a little relaxed after hearing Tania's question. She also felt slightly bad that she had to put Tania through this.
She was only eager to adopt her but she has never for once thought about anything else. It's not very difficult for adults to keep secrets but that is not the same with a child. How could she not think about this?

"Big sister, I am fine. As long as we are always together then it's ok," Tania said as she gave Stephanie her most adorable smile.
"I know you are scared you will reveal the truth to him but you don't have to totally stop talking whenever he is around...,"
"I can write so I can use my tablet to communicate with him. That is way safer," Tania said firmly.
