"It's true the leader has always warned us against developing emotions especially towards humans but matters of the heart is beyond anyone control. Nobody can teach the heart where to go that is why the leader can't control such things," Gael said in a serious tone. He has never been as serious as this.
"You talk as if you know a whole lot about love. Does this mean you have fallen in love with someone before?" Sophia asked turning her gaze towards his face.
"Being in love had always brought trouble and unbearable pains that is why I choose not to get romantically attracted to a woman. It has always been a one-night stand. Those I choose to stay with for a long time are those I am sure will never fall in love with me," Gael said honestly. Sophia was surprised that he choose to be honest with her.
