"What an irony that I fell in love with a man who wants to kill me. I am laughable right?" Michelle chuckled. She was too shocked to think straight. Her pain was too deep to even realise that she was walking. Just when she miss a step and was about to fall, someone caught her from behind.
The now slightly sober Michelle turned her gaze to see the one who caught her. She frowned when she saw that it was none other than the man to whom she has given her everything, including her heart.
"Don't touch me," Michelle pushed him away angrily. Because of the power she used in pushing him, Alex who hasn't recovered from the Grand Empress's earlier torture ended up hitting his back hard against the wall.
The once furious Michelle rushed to his side when she saw him vomit a mouthful of blood.
"Are you ok? I did not intend to push you so hard. I lost control of my powers momentarily," Michelle said in a worried tone.
