"Got you," Stephanie said as she instantly stretched her hand to the back. With the dagger directed right at her neck, the person showed her herself.
"Jennifer!" Stephanie remarked in shock as she stares at Jennifer's face. Her expression showed that she did not expect the person who injured her to be her mother. Had Jennifer not stop just in time, Stephanie's outstretched dagger would have pierced through her lungs.
"I wanted to test whether you had remembered my teaching when I told you to be alert at all time," Jennifer said as she pushed Stephanie's dagger away from her neck with her index finger.
"So did I pass your test?" Stephanie asked firmly.
"You passed the alertness test but you failed the other part of the test," Jennifer announced to the disappointment of Stephanie.
