That was what Alex was thinking the moment he was shanked by a thug in some random alleyway.
Of course, he didn't think it would turn out this way, of course not. He was just going back home from shopping in the first place. Alex wasn't some badass or a superhero in any sense. In fact, he was just the average twenty-something year old you'd see basically anywhere.
(Maybe I should have just stayed home, considering the current state of the world in the first place.)
He thought, just like any normal human being living in the nightmare which is 2020.
Well, unlike normal people however, he is now bleeding out on the ground after fighting with a thug.
(Doesn't matter anyways, It's not like anyone will care if I die anyways. No living relatives, friends, nothing. Man, I lived one pathetic life.)
Alex's personal internal monlogue continued,
(Welp, on the bright side, I don't actually need to grind to get one hundred percent in games anymore. Hell, maybe I can get reincarnated in some fantasy world or something!)
He chuckled a little as he listened to his own thoughts, knowing that this sort of thing wouldn't happen. He felt a sharp pain coming from his stab wound however, immediately ceasing all thoughts regarding his possible isekai storyline.
(Ah, crap! That hurts, shouldn't laugh. Oh, wait! It's getting dark; Allah, Jesus, Anubis, or whoever the heck I see, I'm coming!)
Alex's surroundings slowly grew black. Although Alex may not be an expert in dying, he had a feeling that this meant he was in fact going to die. Truthfully, he was scared, but at this point there was no point in living in this place anymore. (It is a shame however that I didn't get to ever attain my dream of entering the military or something) was one of his final thoughts before he closed his eyes for good.
Alex anticipated almost anything to happen. For example, a few things he had expected were a god, the grim reaper, or absolute nothingness. What he did not expect however was the exact same thing he said would ever happen:
He was reincarnated in a fantasy world.

When Alex opened his eyes again he was quite surprised to see a blue haired woman carrying him.
(Who is this woman? What in the world is she wearing? Why am I being carried? Most importantly however, how am I still alive?! Wasn't I in an alleyway?!)
Considering Alex is being carried by a woman that he does not even know, it was obvious that the right thing to do was to aggresively scream bloody murder and try to let the woman to release him.
"Uwaaa!! Waa- [Translation: What the hell do you think you're doing?!!!Let go of me you piece of-]", When the woman tried to soothe Alex he immediately stopped screaming and hurriedly checked himself.
(Wait, what? Why am I a baby?! Did I really get reincarnated? Man this might just be the absolute worst. Hold on, this might be that cliche where they can open a system panel or something?!)
Just as Alex was thinking about a system panel to his surprise a window popped up. There were 5 main points to look at in the system:
1. User Information
2. Summon Items {Currently Locked}
3. Summon Helpers/ Vehicles {Currently Locked}
4. The List of Modern Knowledge
5. Magic
(Woah, nice. Well, considering this lady reaction [or lack thereof] to this system panel thing it probably means that either it's common to be doing this at my age or that I'm the only one who can see this thing. I can also see there's a magic tab there, so it looks like magic exists here. But what does 'Book of Modern Knowledge' even mean?)
Before Alex could choose any of the options he was interrupted by the voice of a man.
"How's our son, Katelyn?", said the man. Alex thought to himself once more, (Looks like he's my dad. He looks quite attractive, not that I'm into men or anything but I hope I look handsome as well. I guess the woman who's carrying me, Katelyn, is my mother.)
"Alexander is doing fine, Arthur.", my mother answered back. Alex was quite relieved that he can at least still call himself Alex, he was quite fond of his old name as it reminded himself of his old parents. He quickly etched his father's name to his memory as it would be quite bad if he forgot in the future.
My mother continued,"Let's get our Alexander some sleep first though, we need to talk for a bit.", My dad nodded and quickly left the room with my mother.
(Since I'm alone I guess I can use this opportunity to mess around with the system menu thing.)
Alexander thought as he opened the menu once again. Since he probably only had a limited amount of time to investigate the panel before his parents or someone else comes in he decided to work his way down starting from 'User Information'.

(Looks like I'm still only 3 months old. But what's the deal with the point system. Maybe it has something to do with the summoning tab. Not like I can access it or anything. Looks like my surname is Woodwell. Kinda cliché, no? Also looks like the country I live in is Taclea I guess and since I'm the only son of the duke, I guess that basically means it's just me for now. Not that I have any problem with it.),
Alex's increasingly long monologue continued,
(Actually let's see what 'Magic' does first), he opened the tab for 'Magic' for him to see the elements that most people familiar to fantasy see: Earth, Air, Fire, Water, Dark, and Light. There was also one strange element called others. It's probably a dumping ground for extra magic was his only possible guess as to what that was.
(Looks like the big six are here. But maybe I can find some electric power here? I hope I can so that I can roam the streets and shoot at 'em with a coin or something. Oh yeah, not female. Well me becoming a male version of her wouldn't be too bad, still would be a awesome anyways. Wait the whole topic is getting derailed here. Looks like the only thing I can access is Air, Earth, and Others so far. The others require those points in the user info before. 60 points huh, I wonder how I can get those in the first place. )
Alex explored around and saw that although he could access Earth, it still had no usable skills though but the point consumption was much cheaper compared to the act of unlocking the other elements, with its unlocking costing 10 points. He moved on with Air. Same as the Earth element, all of these were locked. One thing caught his eye however, and it was when he saw the sub-category "Lighting"
(Yes!!! Looks like my dream of becoming a human railgun is possible! Wait, I should probably stop with this reference, anyways; If I do learn lighting related skills, I can match it with the water element and maybe use a nail or something metallic while I'm at it. I wonder if it really works.), Alex began to fantasise about the endless possibilities he can mix and match with. (Ok, now on to others! Let's see, Spatial, Creation, and Summoning is the only ones here. Still need to unlock them though. 80 points on these ones, yikes. Well, maybe Spatial has those storage boxes and teleportation maybe. Man, if only I had guns here.)
Alex proceded on to the 'List of Modern Knowledge' tab, still unsure of what it might be. When he opened it, he was immediately shocked at the amount of information and data on the screen.
It had everything. The theorized history of the Earth, Translators to plenty of languages, both known and unknown, theories, sciences, formulas, history of the human race, cultures, and the most eye catching of which; blueprints, guides, and recipes on how to create basically anything.
He immediately clicked on the blueprint section and immediately searched for fire arms and bullet blueprints using his small baby hands.
When the screen stated however [Gunpowder weapon schematics cannot be found in this tab], Alex became slightly frustated, however the screen immediately responded however with the message:
[Weapons parts and weapons can be bought in the Summon Items category. Summon Helpers/Vehicles can be used to summon vehicles and teammates.
All Restrictions Have Been Lifted.

When Alex saw the screen he became quite excited, and so he laughed and laughed, thinking of the possibilities in the future.
