I was exhausted the whole day. Going home and taking a rest will be the best way to end the day. While driving I remember the conversation that I had with Hanna. Should I continue talking to her or just ignore our conversation.
If she will contact me again maybe I will continue talking to her. Let see where it will take us. She seems to be not the type of nerd I am thinking about.

I can't believe Claire gave my number to his boss. Maybe this guy is thinking I am so desperate. But there is no harm in trying to be friendly besides he seems to be a nice guy, I hope so. Should I text him again? Maybe he is still at work or outside having dinner. Ha! Just text him and if he responds then he wants to talk to me.
Hanna: Hi

I was in the elevator when my phone beeps. Maybe Mattie is going to ask me out for a drink. I took my phone out from my pocket and there it goes a message not from Mattie but from Hanna. Hmm...There it is the answer to my question.
Alex: Hello, how are you?
Hanna: I'm good. How about you?
Alex: I'm good as well. Just a bit tired. I'm just about to step into my apartment. Can I call you later?
Hanna: Oh, I'm sorry did I bother you?
Alex: Not at all, I will just take a shower and make myself some diner.
Hanna: I'm sorry. Take your time.
Alex: Sure, thanks.

Shit!
(Face palming myself) I really sounded like a desperate woman right now. I should have checked the time. I guess this is the downside of working with your own time.
Here I am drowning in thoughts and nibbling some of the chocolate cookies I made yesterday. It has been years since the last time I had texted a guy. I really don't know-how will make a conversation with him. Claire before told me that her bosses are good looking and are very smart men, who have the world in their hands and loves to party but are also friends and professional with their staff and never had brought their personal affairs in the office.
Then why did he texted me out of the blue?

Once I step in my apartment I hurriedly went to my room and remove my clothes and took a shower. I prefer the cold shower after the long day as it alms my stressed nerves. After 15 minutes I went down to prepare a simple dinner for myself. After placing the dishes to the dishwasher I took a bottle of whiskey and a glass, sitting in a single sofa and near the window. I took my phone in my pocket and scrolled down to my phone-book until I found the name I was looking for, I dialed the number and waited for the line to ring. Three rings and a soft voice came to the other line.
"H…hi," She said
I can sense the nervousness in her voice. Is she not used to talking to people. I wish she is not like what I am thinking about.
"Hey, are you busy?" I said with a bit of an enthusiastic voice.
"Not really. H... how about you?"
"No, I'm not, I just finished doing everything and here I am sitting beside the window and looking at the city with a glass of whiskey. What are you doing?"
"Not much, I am in front of my computer trying to think about what I should write. I am having a writer's block." She said with a heavy sigh.
"Oh, yeah I think it is really hard for you to write when nothing is coming out of your thoughts right now. I said while nodding. "When I was in college one time our professor asked us to write an essay about our thought with a case of Charles Manson, it was the time that I can't really write something, but really that case was one of my favorites." I smile while telling her.
"What did you do to be able to complete the essay?"
"I was blank as hell. I slept for the whole day. I thought maybe my brain just needs some rest. The next day I was writing nonstop like I was transferred to time when the murder happens. It was crazy!" I was rumbling and my other hand picking the whiskey in the coffee table in front of me.
"Yeah, I don't know maybe something is lacking with me right now. Maybe I should get some fresh air and wander around to think." Her voice seems a little down and I wanted to change the mood in her voice.
"How about we meet tomorrow and have some coffee?" What Alex did you just ask her out? I tried to shift from my seat and straighten my back waiting for her response.
"I… sure" That's the only words that came from the other line.
