Ethaniel's Point of View~~
It was already in the middle of the night, early morning we had a fight then, now we are here hiding waiting 'til we can get out of this place. I remember the paths and sign going to the end of the forest and it rules too if you want to get out of this place you have to be touching the ground. Fly and the deeper you'll go into the forest. A few hours from now we'll be leaving and will be going to Phoenix.
The giants hadn't left the upper grounds. We could negotiate but It won't be an option already since they fought with the three here.
I took a peek at who slept and who still did not and to my surprise, Luciel and April were not asleep yet. They were laughing quietly and telling stories with each other while the others were already asleep and I knew Matt was asleep even if he slept in another room, from here you can hear him snoring.
"Hey you two don't stay up too long, we need a lot of energy for tomorrow." Luciel stood up and knelt.
"When my sister is around you, don't need to be formal, stand up," I said and he stood up. "We'll be encountering dangerous things tomorrow make sure you regain enough energy to fight," I said, and the two of them nodded.
I walked inside the room April prepared for me and went to my bed, apparently they made these beds for me and Matt, so they placed it here in this room. It has a nice and comfy mattress which is made out of a flower. And so it was time for me to rest.
Matthew Johnson's Point of View~~
I stood up and yawned. It felt cold so and I knew that it was morning. I was going to the other room and for a minute I hesitated, I don't know why but I did, I opened the door and the first thing I see this morning is this Luciel and April talking and laughing while having their coffee.
"It looks like you guys had a great nap," I said sarcastically. I looked at Luciel with authority signalling him to greet.
"Good morning, my prince." He stood up then knelt.
"Rise." I said, "Where is Ethan?" I looked at April.
"He snuck early morning to the outside, didn't know where or when, but he woke up before us. That's the only thing I know." he left?? Why?
I went back to my room and decided to cultivate 'til Ethan is back since my power isn't so strong, I have to cultivate as fast as I can. I've lost almost all of my strength from before and now is a great time to slowly get it back. I did my meditation stance and started gathering energy which is pretty great considering that we are inside the east forest.
April's Point of View~~
"Well, I use to remember Matthew as a child. He was a care-free and loving brother. He never let anyone dare to bully me." I said and chuckled.
"I could see that," he replied with a smile.
"Luciel Agnes Acker II, can you tell me more about your background?"
"I'm the fifth son, when I was 7 years of age I started cultivating and practising swordsmanship, at the age of 11 I started joining warrior cultivation. I officially became a warrior at the age of 16." He explains.
"I've never expected someone like you would want to be a warrior," I said.
"I was forced, the family always had an offspring overpower something, be it business, beauty, strength, and others, they saw that I was a prodigy and had been blessed with a strong amount of energy and so they applied me to become a warrior. They want me to overtake all warriors and become one, too bad I can't do that. Other than the spear woman, I fought there are stronger opponents, I wasn't the youngest in the training because there was even a 7-year-old trainee who also applied during my time when I was 11. There are far better people than me, and I admit that" sadness could be recognized in his tone.
"Well, I could free you anytime, better yet make you my personal guard," I replied with a hint of silliness.
He remained silent and looked away. I saw that his cheeks turned pinkish. "Are you blushing?" I asked.
"N-not." he stuttered.
"Wait! you stuttered!" I teased.
"I didn't," he answered still not looking at me. "That'd be a great opportunity though, being a guard of the main family, I'd be willing to do so, the main family is the only ones that could free me from this choice that my family chose." He smiled.
"Then from now on, you will be my personal guard," I said.
He laughed, he looked so handsome... stop! I need to stop these thoughts, or I will really fall for him! "I'm serious. I would even let brother Ethan do the chant to release you. Let you take the oath of Avail." I said, his face turned serious.
"I'd never be as strong to protect you. Someone like that spear woman is better than having me."
He is 19 years of age. Amashla is 37 years of age, yet he was able to stop her. Seriously is he underestimating himself?
"You can enhance your strength while staying with me, you can talk to professionals, heck even warlords! So being a guard of an Acker would make you stronger in Energy Absorption and Brute Strength. Surely along the process of protecting me, you'd become as strong as Amashla," I said.
"Wouldn't that be taking advantage of your status? won't they think that I used you to become stronger?" he argued.
"Silly! That won't be the case since you are guarding me, we main Acker family takes any person as our guard and it is us who provide them with the teaching on how to protect us better. We take warlords or better fighters to teach them, even an 11-year-old boy could become a guard of an Acker family member." I explained and he looked shocked. "So are you willing then?" I asked once again.
"I would be honoured to be your Guard, Princess April," he replied.
"Then good, let us wait for Ethaniel, and he'll release you from that oath." I smiled at him.
"Then what are we waiting for? Shall we start your wedding?" I jumped at the surprise and looked behind me. It was brother Ethaniel! WAS HE LISTENING?
"I, Ethaniel Jadeson Acker, hereby declare that Luciel Agnes of the second branch family, Ackers. Free him from the oath of Avail, for he will become the butler of April Eashane Acker, the youngest offspring of the main branch, Ackers." he declared.
Luciel glowed as bright as the sun for a blink of second then chains started forming around Luciel with a lock in the middle then broke. Was that the seal he was in? But it was different from Amashla... Amashla had these red light radiating from her as if her energy was sucked out.
Luciel knelt in front of me and kissed my hands. "I, Luciel Agnes Acker II, solemnly swear to protect and give my life to my princess. I will become stronger to protect the princess and give her the strongest protection anyone can give." I stopped... wait is this an oath? Is this how it works? I didn't reply and just stood there dumbfounded.
"April, you are supposed to declare him. That's his oath." Ethaniel crossed his arms and shook his head as he was chuckling.
"U-ugh... I, Eashane April Acker, The main family hereby-" wait I'm talking on my own?! "Take Luciel as my butler and he shall protect me with all cost." Did I stop? "I give you the freedom and free speech to me that you shall be yourself around me." Oh, it worked? I wanted to add these because I was sure he would become too professional and would only be a "Guard" to me...
"That declares it! Congratulations lovebirds!" Ethaniel teased and I WAS SURE I WAS AS RED AS A RED ROSE!
Matthew Johnson Acker Point of View~~
What is up outside? First, there was a bright light. Then chanting? Is there a threat? I don't feel any animosity, though... I need to finish my cultivation and head outside.
I took a long breath and slowly landed on the ground. I liked cultivating, mostly the part that I stay balance and stay in the air, sitting mid-air. I laughed at the thought of it. I went outside and saw Luciel holding the hand of April and Ethan who stood there chuckling like a maniac.
"Did I miss anything?" I asked with a hint of annoyance.
"Nothing much. Luciel just became a "servant" of April." he emphasized the servant and winked at April who blushed.
"So you disturbed me from cultivating because you were making him a servant??" I said still with a hint of annoyance.
"I'm sorry brother but that was something important." Ethaniel looked at me with that silly face.
"When are we leaving?" April interrupted.
"Now." Ethan and I said at the same time.
Finally, we are leaving this place! Don't disappoint me Ethaniel with your silly words about the Guardian of Trash Sea, Phoenix. Didn't even heard of that name.
"Pack your things, let's get going after," Ethaniel said to everyone.
