Chapter CXXXVIII
Scarlet's POV
Two days has pass and we are already at disadvantage and the knights are depleting each day we commence an attack. Instead of attacking we are now just defending waiting for the reinforcement to arrive.
It's currently midnight and we are still not resting since we are assisting Ms. Claire on healing the knights that are fatally wounded in the battlefield. The king ordered don't let anyone die at all cost that's why we are trying our best not to let anyone die.
They discovered that the enemy are gathering souls of the dead for the ritual so we are very careful not to let anyone die on both side, but sometimes it's really hard to do that since they are fighting risking their lives.
