CHAPTER 11
It's been two years since I transmigrated here to live as Delie La Eclaus. Instead of thinking how to get back to my own world or living on my own to pursue a luxurious life, I decided to cherish my life here and the people who cares for me.
But I still want to have a business of my own and live a luxurious life using my own skills. I'll just leave that to my future self!
I already celebrated my tenth birthday a few months ago, my friends are also ten years old now.
I grew noticeably taller now and my cheeks are not that plump anymore although Anne is still the tallest.

The coachman told me who was driving the purple carriage that my father gifted to me on my tenth birthday.
I'm going to Valerie's tea party today. She told us that there's a new sequel of 'Pure Love' which is 'Shattered Love'. The 'Pure Love' novel ended with seven volumes and the lovestory of Sajan and Lennon ended tragically since both of them died.
The author of the novel was requested by fans to make a sequel where Sajan and Lennon was reborn in the future which is the modern life I know but with magic.
It was revealed that many nobles are fan of his/her book. I'd like to meet the author of it, I heard a rumor that the author is a noble only a few years older than us. He/she wants to remain anonymous. At a young age, he/she can already write wonderful stories!
I went down the carriage when we finally reached the Ul Katerinn residence. I was greeted warmly by the guards, my face is very familiar to them since me and my friends mostly go to each other's residence to meet up and chat.
They told me that they are already in the garden. I saw them talking to each other while enjoying their tea.
I sighed before greeting them.
"Good day everyone!!"
They looked at me at the same time and they were a bit surprised to see my new look.

"Did you cut your hair?"
Valerie asked me looking at my new hairstyle. My light brown hair has gotten shorter, it doesn't reach my shoulders anymore unlike my old hairstyle two years ago that exceeds only a bit to my shoulder.
"Do you like it? I want to try a new look!"
I flaunt my new haircut. It makes me a bit more mature.
"It suits you!"
"Thanks! So? What are you guys talking about?"
I went to the empty seat on the chair of the round table. I'm sitting between Valerie and Phia, I reached for a chocolate cookie and took a bite.
"Mmm~! It's been so long since I ate chocolate~!"
I put one of my unoccupied hand into my cheek to enjoy this delectable chocolate cookie.
"What? Is the countess still making you go on a diet?"
Phia asked me.
"Yeah...she wants me to lose atleast five pounds especially in my waist"
I still remember how my dress ripped on the part of my waist and how my corset's string broke. Mother was there watching me, I told her that I only grew but she doesn't believe me since I didn't grow a lot in length but in width.
"That must be hard..."
Lianne told me before drinking her tea.
"I can manage, besides mother can't stop me when I want to eat here"
I laughed a bit before taking another cookie.
"Anyway, I heard you already have your gift, Valerie! Mind showing us?"
Oh yeah, the other reason why Valerie wants us to be here is to show us her gift.
"Sure! Let me just focus"
She slowly closed her eyes a bit and inhales deeply.
'So? What do you think?'
We heard Valerie's voice in our head.
"Valerie?"
We looked at Valerie who looks like she is sleeping because of her silence and closed eyes.
'This is my gift, silly! I can communicate through telepathy!'
"Whoa! That's nice! You can communicate to someone without talking! It's easy if you want to cheat on your test!"
I teased her which made her slowly open her eyes and the voice inside our head faded.
"I know right? But I can only do it for only a few seconds! If I can improve it to the fullest level, I can communicate to more than ten people in a span of few days without resting! But I can only do that when I after I graduate at the academy!"
Really? She can communicate to more than ten people at the same time continuously for a few days at full potential! Her gift is good for spying!
By the way, my friends already unlocked their gifts a few months ago. I even went to their celebration party to commemorate their gifts.
Even David celebrated his gift a month after he unlocked his.
Anne's gift is the ability to draw something and make it into real objects but she can only do non-living things and small things but if she improved hers after she graduates, she can make battle ships, weapons or even a castle if she wants to but she takes time making those drawings. I didn't even know that she can draw!
Lianne's gift is the ability to communicate with animals. For now she can only communicate with small animals like insects but when she improves her gift she can command hundreds of animals at full potential.
For Phia, she can heal basic cuts and bruises. When her gift is in full potential, she can heal deep wounds and can even tend a fractured bone of a hundred people without her power decreasing.
Although it still depends on how much mana we have in our body. Mana is something that your body uses an fuel to use your ability.
"Aren't you going to have a celebration party?"
Anne asked Valerie who just shake her head.
"No, I requested father to make me a private library instead of spending money for a one-day celebration!"
Valerie actually likes reading and we saw a ton of books in her room. She's right though, why not use the money for something she wants instead of a celebration that only lasts for a day?
"Aww, I thought we are going to go to another celebration party! Then, we'll have to wait for Delie's then"
Phia told us before they all looked at me with a grin. I almost choke my drink.

My teacher told me about gifts since we need to learn about basic history.
Dragons actually exist here and they are the ones who gave humans the abilities for taking care of their land and for promising them to not disturb their long sleep. That's why our powers are called "gifts" since they are basically gifts from the dragons.
Also, the people here really believes in Santa Claus. The origin of the name is quite different from my previous life, the name actually came from the founders of this land about three-thousand years ago. Their names are Sans, Tardin and Clause which where the name 'Santa Claus' came from after putting them together.
They are the ones who founded the three empires on the land and met the three dragons who gave them their gifts. Sans took the Aidel empire, Tardin took Donato and Clause took the Bogdan.
All names of the land actually means "gifts from God" and those names are also the great three dragon's name. They said that it was already about a thousand years after the dragons sleep and none of them saw one again.
Sans Ra Satish was the first emperor of Aidel and the ancestor of the imperial family. The people there mostly have tan skin but only members of the Satish family have dark brown hair and gold eyes.
The first emperor, Tardin Su Wang is the ancestor of the imperial family in Donato. The people there have Asian like features in my past life, has pale yellowish skin and mostly single eyelids. The descendants of the imperial family has dark blue hair and silver eyes.
Clause De Abel was also the first emperor of Bogdan and the ancestor of the imperial family. Silver hair and purple eyes are their most common features.
So far, that's what I've learned about the history of our land. I can still learn a lot when I go to the academy.
"The young master of El Blanc family already had his own gift two years ago but he awakened another one now!"
Phia told us.

I put down the tea I'm sipping to ask Phia.

The next day, I met my teacher again for my morning class to teach me basic history.
I asked him about having more than one gift which was said to be rare but not impossible, the young master might truly be a 'gifted child'.

I also asked him about my lateness of my gift, he told me that there's some incidence like that similar to my father who had his gift too.
"So what if I haven't awakened one before I turn eleven?"
I gave him a very serious look. I know I might have mine soon but I've been thinking about what if I don't unlock mine before I turn eleven?

I remember how I met my friends in the tea party too two years ago. Ahhh...memories~
It was mostly because of Anne's secret obsession to BL though.
Another day had passed, Sara had finished dressing me up to go to my maternal grandparents' house to visit them before I received a letter from someone.
"Young miss! A letter for you!"
Ugh...is it from Anne again?
I took the letter that has a fancy dark red color and very strong perfume.
"No, it's from a different sender"
Seriously?
I opened the letter with my own hands. I saw Sara shake her head in disappointment.
"Oops! Should have used a letter opener"
But I already opened it. I'm just going to read it!
