Brego and Aurum were led to a beautifully furnished room where they were told they would be staying whilst at the mountains. Greenery grew from the ceiling and from shelves methodically placed through out the room.
A large and low bed was brought in for the gelding. Another was brought for the snake. The grove members refrained from informing him that the bed brought for him was one usually used for blimbies (a local domesticated dog like creature with large ears that many Folk and their families kept as pets. Often known to be very fat and very lazy). The grove members showed them the attached chamber that housed a running stream of water that drained away from the mountain and was meant to be used as a lavatory. They explained that food could be found below in the mess hall and that should they have difficulty finding it they could simply ring the bell on the wall. In the mean time some food had been brought up for them.
A small table was laden with fruits, nuts and vegetables. Aurum noted the lack of meat at the table.
Not that it mattered much. He wasn't that hungry either way.
The grove members bid them to make themselves comfortable and that they would be found should Caeli's condition change in anyway. They left thereafter.
Brego stood beneath the moving water attempting to get Caeli's blood off of his back while Aurum stared quietly out of the small window-like opening in their room.
*Please be ok.*, Aurum thought to himself.
Her friends ate quietly and promptly fell asleep, their mind and bodies exhausted.
They both dreamt that Caeli would wake, healthy and happy to wrap them in a warm embrace.
