She blinked at him in shock.
"What?"
"I mean," Adam leaned back on his seat and stared at the pounding of raindrops on his windshield, "I know we just met. I know it's strange and weird, but I don't want you to be here. I know you are meant for more than… this."
"How do you know that?" Eve said softly, "Are you just trying to sweet talk me to get in my panties?"
"What? No, it… it isn't like that," the blonde covered his face and sighed, "Just a feeling, I guess. You don't have to accept it. You probably have a job here and-"
"Nope."
"What?"
"I don't have a job," she stated, "I was… coming to you to ask for one."

"Yes."
"You didn't happen to be under the roof of my store because you ran too far and need to catch your breath?" A blonde brow quirked up.
"Of course not, do I look like a runner?" She motioned to herself.
