Adam placed a hand over her chest and closed his eyes. He could sense the warmth of their child, of Little fire's soul inside of his lover. A soft smile placed on his lips and he opened his blue eyes.
"Our child gave you its soul," he spoke to the female, "Doesn't that mean Little fire loves you more than me?" He joked pressing her closer to his chest.
"That's okay," he sighed, "I can't blame the child," he said running his fingers through her dark locks.
"When you wake up, I want an explanation," he frowned, "Why you didn't tell me what you were going to do. You still hid what you planned from me, even after explaining to me about the other stuff," he looked down at closed eyes, "Why are you so stubborn. Why won't you just tell me? Did you think I would question you?" He blew out a heated breath before placing his forehead against hers, "I'd rather be beside you."
