Following the blonde angel to his room, he found himself glancing at his other brother following them. He wasn't sure why, but he would ask Adam when they reach his room. Entering the room, he walked in and waited for the door to close. He already knew what his brother will ask him, but he also knew his father.
'He would be watching,' the brunette told himself as he faced his brother, 'How do I tell him without my father knowing?'
As he thought this, he found his eyes widen slightly. He was thinking about… lying? Deceiving? Moving his emerald eyes to watch the blonde sitting slumped on his bed, Gabriel could not help feeling sympathy for him.
"Tell me what it is I missed brother," the kind angel spoke sitting on the bed beside Adam.
"After you helped heal… Eve," Gabriel heard the hesitation and he watched the guilt pass through blue eyes, "I cared for her as much as I could."
There was a pause as Adam let out a deep breath staring at the floor.
