Gabriel stood where he was and watched Adam tirelessly trying to wake his lover. Closing his eyes, Gabriel had an idea of what occurred and the sacrifice that had been done.
'Goodbye my brother,' he took a deep breath and let it out as he opened his eyes once more.
"Adam, we must go to her place," he called out, "We must hurry."
Adam did not hesitate and picked up Eve into his arms and rushed out of the safety behind the waterfall. Spreading his wings, he waited for Gabriel to take flight and he followed. Holding the female close to his chest, Adam felt his blood boiling. Whoever hurt her would pay!
They landed before the coal-like cathedral and rushed in.
"Lay her here," Gabriel instructed and he followed placing her gently on the grounds of the altar.
"High level demons have healing attributions," Gabriel stated, "Help me undress her. We need to see the extent of her injuries."
Adam did as he was told.
