Chapter 104 - 103 End of simulation

I've made my way from the building my team members just left, to the one across the way. Using my snap ability to do it. In the simulation suits, it was an extremely odd feeling. Things were pixelated when I arrived at the building and I could tell I was in a suit that smelled more like neoprene and metal, instead of smelling a sea breeze.

I ended up getting a message from the control room.

*MG SIN*

Please don't do that again, you asked about regeneration abilities not your snap abilities. The computer has trouble keeping up with that.

CR

'Well, I know that now.' I think to myself as the environment starts to sharpen and my suits environmental sensory functions start working again.

The sea breeze fills my nostrils with it's cooling touch and scent as everything is back on line again for my suit. I do some basic movements and everything seems to be in order so I start moving into position. Pulling my short blades free of the straps but leaving them in place, I take a few breaths and think to myself.

'This was so much easier when I had Cass being my DJ. Now, I have to be bad ass without the music. ... This is going to be fun.'

A message pops up.

*Two hostages have been rescued 2/18*

Guess that means I better start moving then.

I roll out of the building behind some stacked gear and equipment for cover. I peak in between and see that I have not been spotted yet. Looking around, I try to spot my target I saw earlier.

Seeing the fuel tanker still be used to fill up metal gas cans by a few soldiers, I take a steady calming breath.

Aim.

Fire.

Two quick shots at the gas cans cause sparks to fly, catching the fuels fumes and igniting the flames that quickly spread. Screams could be heard from the soldier who had been filling up the cans, even over the noise of the soldiers rushing to try to put out the flames.

My heart started racing, adrenaline pumping through my veins again.

I scanned through the small gap and noticed four soldiers looking in my general direction for movement. They moved closer and I took aim before I stood, my ears filling with the sound of my own heart beat.

Before I'm even completely out from behind the stacks of equipment, I've fired a shot at the soldier closest to me.

The soldiers body doesn't even hit the ground before I'm adjusting to the next one.

Two shots, down.

Next. Three shots, down.

Next, fourth soldier, took five shots. The quick dodgy bastard.

I turn and take out a few more, sweeping my shots in short controlled bursts as I turn.

Half the camp is trying to put out the fire, the other half is coming for me.

I deliberately look towards where my team mates would be saving the hostages and waved them on like they were looking at me. This caused some of the soldiers to stop and head towards the hostages and my team mates.

Just in time too.

My helmet flashes a message.

*Two hostage have been rescued. 4/18*

I take aim and fire off a few more shots to slow the ones coming at me now.

A couple shots are fired in my direction and I have to duck behind the equipment. I tuck and roll back into the building I came out of and take off, running out the front, shooting any soldier I see.

*1 team member has perished. 14/30*

*1 hostage has perished 4/17 (18)*

* 2 hostages have perished 4/15 (18)*

* 1 team member has perished 15/30*

*** MG Sin ***

Remain undetected until remaining hostages are saved, or lead enemy soldiers to evacuation point, with out your team members detecting your intentions for extra bonus points.

'I don't really need bonus points, but hey at this point why not?' I take a sharp turn to my right heading back towards the evacuation point. Running, dodging and shooting my way to where they are. Messages popping up on my screen while I do so.

*6 hostages have been rescued 10/15 (18)*

*2 team members have perished 17/30*

*1 hostage has been rescued 11/15 (18)*

* 1 hostage has perished 11/14 (18)*

*1 team member has perished 18/30*

*2 hostages have been rescued 13/14 (18)*

Suddenly as I come around the corner, soldiers hot on my heels, I see Tarchen helping the last hostage get to the evacuation point.

She has her gun up and pointed at me. Right before the hostage gets to the evacuation point, she pulls the trigger and my sight goes black.

Large, bold faced, font flashes in front of my eyes.

*MG SIN*

MISSION FAILED

END OF SIMULATION PLEASE REMOVE HELMET

I pull off the helmet, and find myself in the gym on the floor, surrounded by the rest of my team members staring irritated at me.

Tarchen steps forward, "So much for a normal day, Major General Sin, Sir?"

She puts her hand out to help me up and I take it.

Standing there sheepishly, I scratch my head where the helmet rubbed me, "What gave me away?"

Tarchen sighed, "It was a feeling at first when you said to split into three teams. Then when your team met with ours, they told us how you wanted to come rescue mine, which had walked into a large patrol. We all knew that we were to complete the mission. Your a Major General. You of all us, know this the best."

"So it was the little things." I nod, impressed.

"Well, there was two things that made it completely obvious though." Tarchen's lips twisted up, and her eyes scrunched in a fake smile. "In training you taught us, 'Do not try to be the hero, unless there is absolutely no other choice.' You had choices. Lastly, I checked outside to see how you were doing and when I saw you waving someone on from where we just came from, I knew. You were diverting attention to us, not away from us. Sure enough, soldiers appeared and started taking us out. When you came around the corner, I went with my gut. I shot you, Sir."

"Good Job, you completed the mission and objective you didn't even know you had. Good job everyone!" I scan their faces quite proud actually that they had a successful mission. "Let's go get changed and enjoy some dinner."

We all start to head towards the door when John comes walking in with Turk, their faces tight and grim.

Well Johns was, Turk always looked grim or grumpy. If he was smiling was when one should be especially concerned.

I motioned to the team to go on with out me and I joined John and Turk.

"What's the matter? What happened?" I asked cautiously, gauging their demeanor to mean this was serious.

Turk grunted, "We got work to do. Go get changed into field gear. Pack extra bottles, as many as you can."

"He's forced his way through some of our lines of defense and has invaded Panama. We're sending more of our forces north of the Darian Gap. Since we know the gap area better than the majority, Thietian asked us to go. We'll give you the details in a little bit."

John went with me as I changed out of my suit and got dressed, just to snap to our offices to get suited up in our special gear. The neoprene body suits for hot, cold, dry or wet climates, fitted with bullet proof dykneema plates over the majority of the body, fit us like specially made gloves. With extra padding in the arms and legs, that doesn't limit our mobility, we look every bit of secret strike or assassins.

After putting our ammo clips in their slots and attaching our dump bags, we fitted our weapons of choice to their places. My Katana and kodachi, along with my other knives, went on my back, hips and legs.

Finally finished after making sure my boots where strapped tight and my movement was good, I turned to find John with an amused and hungry look in his eyes.

"What's the matter, darling?" I purred as I strutted over to him.

"Why would you think something is wrong?" He asked snapping out of his thoughts but keeping that smug, excited smile on his face.

He leaned back against the desk as I laid my body against his stroking him over the suit on his chest.

"Because everyone will be able to tell what's the matter, when you have....." I began biting my bottom lip before eying him up and down. My hands slowly caressing down his body.

"This."

He hissed as I gripped his hard on that was obviously evident in the tight fitting suit. A cocky smile broke out across my face as I leaned against the side of his face to whisper and breathe softly against his ear.

"It's hard to hide something like this, in such a tight suit. My love, one might think that you are a pervert with this thing."

I start to turn and walk away but he quickly pulls me back towards him roughly forcing his hard on to rub against my body.

"I'll show you who's the pervert, my love."
