The treasure hunter squad consisting of, Nargo, Whatz D Face and Tim Tim (without Ronin) started sailing towards the shore. It was hard to see as the Crimson Spear had blocked off the moonlight from the surrounding area. Within around half a minute of their departure, they witnessed an instantaneous blaze appear from seemingly nowhere from the marine ships.
"Who did that?" Tim Tim asked curiously.
"I don't fucking care about that Tim Tim. My question is why aren't you rowing?" Nargo barked at him.
"My arm's still sore from earlier."
"Oh no! Does widdle bucket boy need his mummy?" Nargo replied sarcastically.
"I'm sorry to interrupt your squabble gentlemen, but something bad is about to happen." Whatz D Face interrupted.
"What is i-"
Their row boat was flipped out of the water, and they were flung painfully onto the beach. The row boat had luckily not been too damaged but that was the least of their problems. Out of the water, a large fishman emerged, and at the group's backs were four pirates. The fishman was large and looked like a shark whilst the pirates were the usual lackeys.
"Filthy half-breed, why are you with the inferior race?" The fishman shouted.
"If you're talking about me, then I would kindly suggest you shut the fuck up. I'm starting to get in a bad mood." Nargo warned.
"How dare you talk to me like that! You're a mutt, nothing more, nothing less. It's time to punish you for your inferiority..."
"Excuse me, Mister fishman sir. Would you shuffle slightly to the left?" Tim Tim asked.
"Uh... sure. Anyway, where was I? Oh, right I was-"
"About to be hurt badly." Tim Tim replied menacingly.
"Ah yes. I, the mighty Gregory, am about to be... wait!"
Tim Tim unsheathed Zendu, murderous shockwaves infecting the surroundings. Tim Tim slashed at the air; a wave of pure darkness engulfed the fishman. To Tim Tim's surprise, although severely injured, Gregory was still standing. Tim Tim sheathed his blade before his mind was overrun and, once sheathed, a thick black mist covered everyone momentarily.
Taking this opportunity, Nargo sent multiple weapons zooming dangerously to the spot of where Gregory had just stood. Whatz D Face, whilst this was happening had cleanly slaughtered the four pirates, each of them drained of blood and had faces of fear etched into their soul. The mist evaporated quickly.
The spot Nargo had hit, missed its target completely and Gregory was nowhere to be seen.
"Did that bastard run off?" Nargo laughed.
"You're also dumber as well, I see. Half-breeds like yourself have no right to live."
Gregory was levitating above the group, stood atop a massive water sphere. It started spinning violently and water, condensed into bullets, rained down on the group. Whatz D Face shoved Tim Tim to the ground and took the blows for Tim Tim. Nargo was left to fend for himself as he deflected the water with his weapons, only to his horror, the water shattered the weapons on impact. Nargo was pierced several times before the water barrage finally stopped.
Whatz D Face's wounds healed much slower than usual. Perhaps it was the seawater slowing it down, Tim Tim thought to himself.
"Look how helpless you all are! You truly are the inferior race." Gregory mocked them.
"Bucket boy! Plan B." Nargo shouted.
Tim Tim fired a bullet towards Gregory, who easily deflected it. He continued to gloat about his heritage, until Nargo wrapped his chains around him. For a second, it looked like it was working, but Nargo succumbed to his injuries, collapsing on the floor.
"It's time to finish you off." Gregory snarled.
A loud blast sounded in the distance. A bullet passed straight through Gregory's head. A body fell to the floor. Jenkins blew the smoke from his sniper rifle.
"One shot, one kill." He whispered to himself triumphantly.
The rest of the crew arrived at the shore a few minutes later to tend to the wounded.
"Where's our beloved Doctor Vaeg?" Whatz D Face said, sulking because he was going to do 'something so cool it would make the ladies panties fall away' against Gregory.
"He's said he was tired of our shit and said he was on strike again." Barbosa said.
"So, how is Mister Nargo going to be?" Tim Tim asked, licking his wounds (he had acquired this trait from Ronin, who was basically his only family for a long time).
"He'll be fine. I stole some healing potions from Vaeg without him noticing." Jimmy said.
Jack the raven flew over to Tim Tim, a message attached to his leg.
"It's just a bunch of random pictures but I'll try to deduce what the message says. It says: 'Dear Jimbo, I know about the potions. I will have some fun with your gender reassignment tonight. Whatz D Face might actually get his dream. Signed by your one and only doctor of madness, Vaeg D. Octeurgh.' That's the gist of it anyway." Tim Tim deciphered.
"Wait. Does Doctor Vaeg know how to read and write?" Barbosa asked.
"Now that I think of it, whenever I tried giving him the newspaper, he'd get really worked up and offended by it. So basically our Doctor is a cannibal and illiterate. Joyful." Jimmy sighed. "Anyway, let's get this person's head, grab the treasure off the black dagger ship and head off to the battlefield."
They left the head and treasure to be looked after on the ship by Veronica, since Vaeg was on strike and busy with something apparently. Nargo had been mostly healed. The crew headed down a secluded path, just next to the beach and arrived at the opposite end of the town to the fighting. There was still a few bodies laying on the ground but nothing too serious.
The village of Omugana was now in three sections. The untouched area (an incredibly small area; only Gary's tavern's street was untouched), the burned area, and the main area located at the centre of the village (all houses around the middle had been crushed by the giant versus captain fight). The crew decided to walk closer to the main area as that would be where Leroy was most probably.
As they entered the main area, where all that greeted them were piles upon piles of dead bodies, embedded with assortments of weapons. The devil's signature written all over the battlefield. Both the giant and Captain Kozo were still going, and even more surprisingly, both seemed like they weren't breaking a sweat. There was seemingly no people left on the battlefield apart from the leaders until a sword appeared at Tim Tim's throat.
"What do we have here? A kid with an evil sword and an oversized dog. Hopefully you'll entertain me longer than these fools." The man waved his off hand towards the direction of a massive pile of bodies. "Before I kill you, let me share my name. My name is Kuzaname and that behind your group is my little brother, Saruchi." Kuzaname said, his voice almost as sharp as his swords.
The ground started rumbling and Saruchi, the 'little' brother walked behind them, dazing off into the distance, distracted by a flittering butterfly. He was about ten feet tall and large. He had a goofy simplistic smile but the many scars on his body erased any hope for innocence from him.
"Saruchi wants sleep now. How long Ku-bro?" Saruchi complained.
"This should be the last batch my brother. And remember, I'm buying you some nice tasty treats afterwards." Kuzaname said.
"Yay, Saruchi happy. Kill now. Bye bye!" Saruchi slammed his fist down, cracking the pavement with deadly force.
A powerful gun shot sliced past Jenkins. Jenkins turned to see the glint of a scope in the distance.
"And that would be my angel sister's warning shot. So because we're bored, all of us are going to play a game. You shall split your group to face all three of us individually. None of us three will interfere with each other's fights. How about it? Sounds like fun right, Vaeg pirates?" Kuzaname said, grinning maniacally.
Before the group could discuss, a certain individual screamed, "LEEEEERRRRRROOOOOOYYYYY!"
There in pristine muscular form, charged the mighty Leroy, relishing the chaos of the battlefield.
"Mister Leroy, WAIT!" Tim Tim screamed out.
However, Leroy didn't heed Tim Tim's warning. He continued charging at Kuzaname but didn't even get near to him. Instead, with immaculate precision, and within a blink of an eye, Leroy was stopped in his tracks, his arm severed on the floor. Despite this, he started charging again only to be knocked unconscious with the hilt of Kuzaname's sword.
The crew stood shocked. Leroy was defeated in mere seconds. Their crew member, lay bleeding helplessly on the floor. Jenkins let out a cry and suddenly his eyes were filled with rage.
"You bastard! That's my brother!" Jenkins screamed.
"I apologize but he attacked me first. Alas, this was his fate for being a weakling. Anyway, chop-chop! We haven't got all day to decide." Kuzaname said.
"I'll take him to the ship to heal. It should only take a few minutes. Hold out until then and I'll bring reinforcements. Basically, a revived Leroy and..." Barbosa shivered, "And Vaeg I guess."
Even Kuzaname couldn't stop Barbosa in full transformation if he wanted to. Compared to Barbosa, Kuzaname was a snail and Barbosa rushed Leroy and the severed arm to the Crimson Spear.
"Me and bucket boy will take on swordsman creep. Jenkins, I know what you want but you're the only one that can take out that sniper. The rest of you scallywags focus your energies on that huge fucking person." Nargo instructed.
Everyone agreed reluctantly. They all set themselves up in position. They would have to avoid the giant versus Kozo fight at the same time. The moon reached its peak.
"LET OUR GAMES COMMENCE!" Kuzaname shouted.
