Chapter 26 - Chapter 10 ∆Book 2∆

-I Would Be Better-

*Roses POV*

Since the accidental episode of the pixies, we have not been introduced to any more live creatures. I was pretty sure Lockhart just think that we are too young.

Instead, he read passages from his books to use, and sometimes reenacted some of the more dramatic bits.

He alaways seemed to choose Harry, who would scowl and make a face. I was really jealous because he was getting a huge opportunity, which, for some reason, Harry did not like.

So far Harry had been chosen by Lockhart to play a simple Transylvanian villager whom Lockhart had cured of a Babbling Curse, a yeti with a head cold, and a vampire who had been unable to eat anything except lettuce since Lockhart had dealt with him.

Us girls would just think how lucky Harry was. We would have done anything to be in his place.

In today's lesson, Harry, once again was chosen. This time he was told to act like a Werewolf.

"Nice loud Howl, Harry - exactly -"

I snorted, I bet I could howl way better than that.

"And then, if you'll believe it-"

"I don't think I will," Draco muttered under his breath. I rolled my eyes at him.

"I pounded - like this - slammed him to the floor - thus - with one hand, I managed to hold him down - with my other, I put my wand to his throat - I then screwed up my remaining strength and performed the immensely complex Homorphus charm - he let out a piteous moan..."

Lockhart carried on his story while I stared at him.

"That was so brave of you sir," I said,"You must have been in Gryffindor."

He beamed at me,"Yes, Yes indeed I was in Gryffindor."

The bell rang and Lockhart got to his feet.

"Homework: compose a peom about my defeat of the Wagga Wagga werewolf! Signed copies of Magical Me to the author of the best one!"

We stood up, going to the library to do our homework.

"You know," Draco said,"Lockhart wasn't in Gryffindor? It was Hufflepuff"

"And where did you get that information from,"I teased,"A book?"

"No-"

"Wait, Draco reads books?" Tracey cut in.

"Actually," Draco said,"My father told me. He was two years below my father."

"Oh my," I fake gasped,"Then your father must be oollllddddd."

Draco sighed,"Stop. That's not the point."

"Whatever."

We sat on the table, taking out Lockhart's book, parchment and  a quill. We began our work.

-----------------------------------------------------------

*Soon After*

Draco put his quill down and smiled at us,"Want hear it?"

Tracey shrugged,"Sure."

"Lockhart went abroad

He said he met god

But what you all should really know

Is just the he's a fruad!"

I raised my eyebrow at him as he smirked. Tracey shook her head.

"First of all, That was horrible," she said.

"Second of all it does not say in the book that he met god, we are supposed to write about werewolves," I carried on.

"And lastly, he is not a fraud!" We said in unison.

Draco rolled his eyes,"Suuuureeee he isn't."
