I remained quietly hidden behind the tree as I waited for the intruders to make themselves known so I would be able to get a glimpse of their faces. Everything I've heard so far tonight only indicates more trouble for the pack.
Their footsteps kept getting closer and closer until I could see movement in the dark but was still unable to make out who it was, "they need to come closer" Zeta said and I agreed with her.
Just when I was certain they would break through to the path, they took a left turn and continued off the path, well hidden in the bushes. I had only three seconds to think of my plan before jumping into action, Zeta with me every step of the way.
I moved away from the tree and tried to move as stealthily as possible behind them. This would piss Xander off to no end but he will have to understand in the end.
