After my return from that incredible discovery, I went back to my room and showered comfortably for the first time in three days. Not that I was complaining, I enjoyed being with Xander for that whole time but even I know a shower was long overdue.
After showering, I went to my wardrobe and picked out high-waist jean shorts, a white long sleeve crop top, my underwear, and finally puma flats. I moved to the vanity in the room and dried my hair with the towel before wrapping it in a loose bun.
I stared at my face for a long time in the mirror and what I saw pleased me beyond words, I was glowing. I looked slightly different and I felt different like I had been changed from the inside out. My eyes shone brighter and I could see specks of gold within the blue, it was incredible.
