I awoke a few minutes later only to discover that Asha had gone stiff beside me. I tried waking her up, nothing happened. Fear had me jumping off the bed instantly.
I tried everything I could think of and nothing happened, she didn't even flinch. So many emotions were running through me at that point, guilt, fear, anger and then fear again.
It was a terrible situation to be honest and I had just about given up to go ask for help outside when I saw her eyes flicker open. The joy and relief I felt at that moment was heavenly.
She looked shocked at first, then confusion swirled within her eyes as she accessed the situation, and then finally she rose to her knees on the bed to face me. I on the other hand was still leaning on the bed and she cupped my face gently as she kissed me slowly.
