"Serena, this is not an issue we should be taking lightly", Malia her second in command advised gently. "You worry too much Mali", Serena said lightly. She knew what her friend was saying was the hard truth but she also knew she couldn't accept it or they'd never be able to keep their homes.
Within the time it took for the Lycan king to gather his armies, Roman had incited the humans against them and now they were looking to make a move on their homes.
This was not the time for any of that and she knew Roman did this to provide them with a major weakness in the war he no doubt knew was right upon his doorsteps.
"I am only saying this because you know it to be the truth, yet choose to do nothing about it", Malia replied firmly. "What will you have me do Mali?" Serena asked gently. "This war is tasking enough without us adding the issue of the humans to the equation".
