SAMUEL
I couldn't bring my head up to meet up the eyes of one of my most beloved family members. I couldn't bring them up. I just can't.
"Samuel. Honey," she voiced out, but her voice made it even more unbearable for me to look up at her. There was so much guilt in my heart, and if I looked into her, I am even afraid that she'll disappear from me. I didn't know what to do.
Slowly, a translucent hand went under my chin beckoning me to look up, not forced but rather by choice. Seeing my mother translucent my hand made my heart shatter in pieces and by choice, with tears in my eyes I looked up at the beautiful eyes of my mom, with a heavy heart. I went and wrapped my arms around my mother's neck like I was a little boy.
