ERICA
Micah's death all seems too surreal. I find it hard to believe that she is truly gone. She is very unpredictable. She does the craziest things but she always ends up getting what she wants. Did she really die in anguish? It can't be. I don't know what to think. Something tells me that this was far from over.
The memorial of Micah ended up in a flash with painful sobs and mourns.
"You saw it didn't you, Erica?"
I nod. Chione appeared beside me in spirit no one can see her but me. 'This battle with Micah isn't over. The knife that Micah held was not a normal knife. I felt Hephaestus' power coming from it. Good luck with your battle, young Lumia.' She wrapped her arms around my neck and flew towards my back. 'A god is assisting her.' Chione whispered into my ear before she melts into my body.
I sighed as I stood up from my bed and walked towards my window to think before I felt theone vibrate in my pockets. I pulled it out and answered. "Erica," Carlos's timid voice came through the phone.
"What's wrong, Carlos," I asked worriedly.
"Are you alone right now? Is Fay with you?"
"No, she isn't she is in the bathroom taking a bath. You want to talk to her Carlos?"
"N-no. I want to talk to you," he said. "Is it possible for you to go somewhere more private? Somewhere Fay can't hear you." I was a little confused by Carlos's questions but still, I decided to follow his instruction.
"Ok, give me a moment." I went out of my bedroom and down the stairs into the room where I practice my sword. She never likes the smell of the amount of blood and sweat that I shed in this room. The occasion of her coming to this room is either is the case of emergency or is she wants to see in action.
I sat down in a chair and answered Carlos. "What's wrong?"
"Did Micah stabbed Camila and Fay with the blade of Hephaestus?"
I was left a little silent from Carlos's knowledge. Did he have another premonition? It took a while for my brain to process before I answered Carlos. "Yes," I admitted.
"No!" he cried. "Make all of this stop! Please! Tell me this is all just a dream. I don't want you to change, Erica. Please... don't ever change.... don't change, Erica!"
I didn't understand what my little nephew was saying. I wanted to calm him and asked him what was wrong when I heard my uncle's voice coming from the phone.
"Hello, Erica?" My uncle answered.
"Uncle Ben, what is going on? What is Carlos trying to say?"
He sighed. "It's quite a predicament, Erica. Carlos had another premonition about you and he saw more things clearly this time. In short summary, Carlos said he saw that you were in a fight with Camila and Fay where they were controlled by Micah in an abandoned building. During that fight, he saw Micah used that blade to cut Fay and Camila and they were all in a near-death situation except Micah. She was gone like literally already gone the moment she pierced herself with the blade.
The blade isn't a normal bade it allows the user of the blade to transfer their soul into another living person through death. So what I am trying to say Fay isn't Fay right now. It is Micah. She has taken possession of Fay's body. There's another thing, the reason she held Camila and Fay in an abandoned and set up a strong barrier was all because she wanted to use your powers. The more you use your powers the more you become emotionless and so that you can end up being emotionless like her.
Since she can't have you she is trying to turn you, Erica." I tried to breathe all the information into my head. I had grasped the situation I am in, and I hated it. I wished for all of this to be unreal, but I need to face up to reality. My chest literally feels heavy.
"I understand," I replied. "Thank you for telling me this, Uncle Ben." I hang up the phone before my uncle could tell me something else. Everything I see in front is red.
I clenched my fingers into a fist and walked out of the room. I headed back up to my room where Fay came out of the shower smiling at me but I didn't. I grabbed her by the neck and pinned her onto the wall. "Get out of her body, Micah," I demanded. Fay's innocent smile soon faded into a grin. Rage was fuming inside of me. "Go back to your original body, Micah."
"Now, why should I do that when I have this flesh and blood body. It's been a while since I last felt this alive. Besides, I am carrying my love baby," she touched her belly, unafraid. I slapped her hands away from my baby but she just broke into laughter.
"You're a sick bastard."
"I do agree with being sick but a bastard. I don't think so. I think I look quite lovely, don't I, love?" she asked. "You won't be able to hurt me, Erica Von Lumia."
I wanted to strangle her death with my fingers, but she knew I won't be able to. She has seriously had me wrapped around her fingers. I was the real puppet who was dancing around her hands. I can't hurt her. This is Fay's body and she is carrying our baby. I seethed in anger but I had no choice but to let her go. "Can't you just, please, leave us alone?" I asked desperately.
"No can't be done," she touched her neck and smiles. "You are going to pay for cancelling our engagement. I want you, Erica Von Lumia to use your powers to kill William and become Lumia's boss. Afterwards, maybe I'll consider leaving Fay's body. If you refused, it's not that bad actually, I am going to be a mother."
Feeling defeated I plopped down to my bed and Micah climbed its way to the bed wrapping her hands around my waist and her bare breast pressed against my back Fay's long blonde hair fell down to the side of my shoulder. I was left silent and she knew I have no other choice but to accept her proposal. She had won. "You're going to be perfect, Erica Von Lumia."
The next few days I left Canada and book a flight home. The moment I met up with my grandpa he knew that he is going to be murdered by his grand-daughter and was ready to accept the fact. The minute I had gone for the kill with tears in my eyes. My grandpa smiled and whispered his last words to me. My sword was tainted with his blood and his head was severed from his body.
"My princess," he said.
However, from that moment on I lost my humanity. The monster that Micah wanted me to become succeeded. I became Lumia's boss. I came back to Canada with another personality. My parent's felt the air around me changed. When I met Fay and saw how her tears rolled down her eyes she at the sacrifices that I have done to save her at that moment I knew this was the real Fay, my lover. I came wanting to touch Fay for warmth but soon Micah came in ruining at the chance for reviving my humanity.
"Well done, Erica," Micah spoke. "However, I can't go back to my original body, after all, my body had been cremated. So choose, Erica, which one would you like me to possess, Camila or Fay?"
"Do what you wish," I heard myself say.
"You've become perfect, Erica Von Lumia. My boss. My love. My wife."
