ERICA
My plan for the future is to finished my highschool years, go to a good university where I can study medicine, become a good doctor so that I can save the lives of the innocent and marry Fay, if everything goes out smoothly. Little did I know, my life turned upside down when I was exposed that I was mafia on my eighteenth birthday that comes with many secrets of many gods and goddess needed to reside in a human body in order to live.
Now, with another problem at hand the scroll of mother earth is being activated and all the gods are afraid of the unknown. I sighed.
What does this had to do with Micah wanting me? The uneasiness that dwells within me have never left my body. She was also awfully close to Camila. I warned her to stay away from Micah but she is still too kind she doesn't know how to say no. She doesn't know how to refused anyone and that is why I'll be a devil for her to protect her.
I am afraid of Micah as much I hate to admit it. She, too, host a god in her body like me. She is one strong enemy which I don't ever want to face in a battlefield, and it seems she doesn't like to be exposed to people know that she has a god who dwells in her body. I was only informed about it by Manni in the morning that she found more information about Micah, but other things were tightly kept confidential.
She has been trying to dig up more information but it'll require more time. The news of several assassination cases that was forced to closed down had to something to do with Micah. If she is that dangerous"Erica?" Camila suprised me from behind which startled me.
"Is everything alright? You have been distracted lately. Is it about Micah again?"
I smile. This girl she reads me everytime like she is the other half of me, but I have not tell her the whole mafia business that I am in. It is too messed up and dangerous. I don't want to drag her into any of this. The best way for her to stay safe is to know the less the better, and figure out what the Arcana Family is plotting.
"Yea," I replied honestly. "She is actually a sister of my childhood friend, but we don't really see eye to eyes."
"With Micah?" She said surprised. "To be honest, I have been hanging out with Micah and she doesn't seem so bad. In fact, she has been very nice and friendly to everyone."
"Don't let her angelic looks cool you Camila. Who knows when the prettiest girl turns out to be devil," I warned her.
She sighed. "I know you're worried about me, Erica, but Micah she's really nice."
"Please," I rolled my eyes. "She is my childhood friend's sister. Trust me, when I know her more than you do. I know her personality."
"People can change," she said. Was she trying to persuade me? "How long had you last talked to her was it five or even ten years? Won't you give Micah a chance to prove she has changed over these last year's?" Anger was fuming inside of me. I didn't like to be defied and Camila had always listened to me.
"Was it Micah that came to speak to you to speak to me like this?" I asked. "What nonsense has she said that allowed you to talk to me like this?" I raged.
Camila words started to came out mumbling, afraid. She knew I didn't like to be defied and still chose to do it all because of Micah. "She said-" I shut her up and have her pinned with her back against the wall with no where to escape to.
"Are you really taking her words over mine?" I asked.
"She said it was a misunderstanding and that you had always doubt that she is an untrustworthy person ," she mumbled.
"Misunderstanding?!" I laughed. "I had never even talked to Micah. She's lying to you, Camila. Who do you really trust? Me, your best friend or the friend you just made over the last few days?" She was left speechless but she needs to know. Micah never has good intentions. I know she is trying to see the good in her that is one part of her that I just love about her, but Micah she can't be seen in the light. She is pure evil filled with greed and strong desires. I hate doing this. But Camila needs to wake up.
"It's you," she blurted out tears sprang down her eyes and my heart throbbed at the sight of it. I didn't mean to hurt her.
"C-camil-"
"It's you who have changed."
My expression turns into a confusion. "What?"
She gripped tightly onto her school uniform with her head hung low unable straight to look at my eyes. "You used to answer my calls and text right away. You used to tell me everything. However, over the last two weeks you left the country without telling me. I text you and called you but never sent a reply. I was so worried out of my mind that you had met some kind of trouble. So, I waited for you every single day for just a single text, but you never had. Then you came back and I still waited for a explanation but you still haven't." She looked up to me she couldn't control her tears. "You used to care for me," she choked. "But now I guess I am not as important since you're engaged to Fay."
My heart was filled with guilt. "How did you know?" This conversation wasn't supposed to turn out like this.
"I didn't have to see the ring on your fingers and Fay's to know you are engaged. Micah had even told me that you guys went back to your country to be engaged. At first I didn't want to believe it but the first thing that I saw when you came back was the diamond ring on your fingers and hers. Tell me, Erica," her voice softens. She looks so tired. "Tell me who shall I believe your words or Micah's?"
I was left quite speechless with her speech. I had nothing to add or say to this. When she saw that I was left quite silent. The tears in her eyes came on even more uncontrollable that she went under my arms to escape from me.
"You don't have to take me home, today. I'll walk."
I quickly turned around and grabbed her hand and pulled her into me and kissed her on the lips but she bit them to get away. She spit my blood out of my her mouth and slapped me across the face.
The burning sensation came crawling onto cheeks and when I turned to face Camila she ran away. I no longer have the face to see her. All I can do is pray for the gods above for to reach home safely.

When I came home Fay had already been waiting for me in the living room. She came up to me and gave me a quick peck of kiss on my cheeks. I smile at the sight of her to hide away the sin I committed.
"Welcome home, honey."
"Thank you, darling."
She seems to be very happy and I don't want to ruin her day. She held me my hands and went up to me ears. "I have a surprised for you," she whispered. "But before I tell you. Let's eat I am starving."
I laughed and the both of us ate our dinner in silence. Though she has been eating a lot lately and putting on weight but maybe she is just too happy.
When she held my hand and pulled me up the stairs and into our room. She immediately took something from the table and hid it behind her. My curiosity peaks in.
"What are you hiding, dear?" I played. I leaned down onto her to distract her with my looks to snatched it away from her. However, before I could do it she held it out faced it towards me.
"This is a pregnancy test and guess what two lines mean?"
A real smiled creeped up towards my lips and I couldn't stopped smiling. "Am I going to become a mother?"
"Yup," she said popping the p. She rubbed her tummy and looked up at me. "We are going to become a family."
Excited and thrilled I kissed Fay and touched her stomach in amazement. "How long has it been?"
"Lorenzo brought me to the doctor today for a body check up and the doctor said I am pregnant and had been for two weeks long."
This girl is just amazing and I still couldn't stop smiling. She shrieked. This only meant the first time that I had bit her had really made her pregnant. I couldn't believe it. I am going to be mom. I leaned down to kiss her, but was soon interrupted with my phone.
I answered and it was Mrs. Lauren she was panicking I couldn't understand a word she was saying. It was all over the place. "Mrs. Lauren, please, take a few breath and try to talk to me slowly."
"Is Camila with you? My daughter she's not home yet and it's right already. She usually tells me where she is going and who she's with, but now she's not home."
I bit my lips. "We're going to search for her."
"Oh God?" She exclaimed. "I'll call in the police."
"Please do. I'll call my parents and scout out a searched party. Please, stay home. I'll bring Camila home."
"Please," she begged and hung up.
I turn to Fay. "It must be Micah. I need to go search for her."
"I'll come with you."
"No." I stopped her. "I don't know what Micah is up to, but I know is up to no good. I don't want anything dangerous to happen to you. So, please, stay home and do this for our child."
She quickly understood my words and listened. "Stay safe," she said.
"I will," I said but I can't promise her.
CAMILA
I didn't understand how I was able to speak those foolish words to Erica. I always trusted Erica. I always have. I love her. It didn't matter if Erica had a fiancee. I will always trust her because she always trusted me.
"Ugh..." I groan. Every part of my body was paralyzed. I couldn't control my body or command any single part of it including my finger. I didn't understand what was happening. A figured appeared out of the shadows. It took a couple of second to see that it was Micah came out smiling like a psychotic killer. "I am so glad to see you, tonight, Camila," she said holding onto a knife. I wanted scream.
Erica was right. I should've kept my distant from her and the way Micah looked at me was terrifying. Every core of my body shook violently from fear.
'Oh god! Erica. Save me!'
