ERICA
The last year of my high school life was hectic. I wasn't able to graduate with the perfect grade that I wanted from each class. I had to run the family business when I was just a student. Everything was just in a cold-blooded mess at that time. There were times that I had failed to do our family business and had sought out my father for help. My father had done everything perfectly and still is helping me.
Even, the scrolls of mother earth had not been found. Manni had disappeared in that last school year. Micah, on the other hand, still inhabited Fay's body but on some rare occasion, Micah was kind enough to let Fay out to talk to me once in a while. Which I am very thankful for. I guess even the evilest bitch in the world can have a little heart sometimes. Every time, Fay comes out to talk to me she has been trying to bring out what's left of my humanity. However, when Micah takes over that humanity just disappeared out of nowhere. It was only when I am with Fay that I am able to feel to others my emotions were pretty much dead.
While I was working on the last paperwork Samuel came in with blood in his hands. He must have come straight up from the torture room to tell me the news. He is my most trusted man and one of the youngest mafia in this house. His blue eyes and dark hair is still as dull as ever. The blood that was tainted on his black T-shirt and jeans were nearly invisible if it weren't for the liquid. "So did he spill," I asked.
"He did. The client flew back to her country so she could hide from us." From the shelf, he took a towel and wiped away the blood from his body. "I've already hired a man to hunt her down. Though, I doubt that she can pay the amount of money that the bitch owed us. The majority is that the bitch will have to work as a prostitute for the rest of her life to make up the sum of money she owed us.
I nod. I am proud that he is adapting to this house fast. "Well, let's get off of work shall we?"
"Yes, boss," he smiles happily.
I walked Samuel out of the mansion and watched him walked back home. Before I decided to head back to my work I took a stroll in the garden and when I saw a familiar blonde woman sitting on the bench. I recognized but I didn't feel anything for her.
She turns to look at me and stood up. "Erica," she spoke. She didn't change at all. I am more surprised that she is here in Italy.
"Camila."
"Sounds like Fay is right. You've changed." She walked towards me. I can feel the sweat coming down from my hands and my heart beating slightly faster. Something feels wrong. I closed my eyes to calm my heart rate, but the moment when Camila placed her hand on my cheek. There was a painful throbbed left in my heart which I haven't felt for a very long time. "Erica, after the accident I have been very afraid. I apologized for not sending any text or calls. I was so terrified. I had nearly lost my life. However, since the accident, Fay has been filling me with what has been happening around you about the mafia and Micah."
"How did you know?"
"Ever since that weird knife had wounded me I've been hearing Fay's voice inside my head. At first, I didn't want to believe it, but now," she touched the scar on the before she continued talking. "I do. As crazy as it sounds I choose to believe Fay's words. She even told me to come and see you. She said that you have changed and the only thing that could bring back at least a tiny of humanity was by talking about me. Erica," her voice softens. "Can I believe that you are still in love with me? Because I have never once stopped thinking about you. Never once did it stopped."
Pain laced up to my head a little and I wince. "I can't," I reminded myself. "No feelings." No. She'll hurt Fay.
Camila quickly came to my aid holding me. "Fay said not to worry about her. She promised to get back to you and live peacefully with your child, Amy." She held my hand tightly and looked straight into my eyes. "I admit I was scared to come back to you, but I am not afraid. I love you, Erica. I always have and always will do." She tiptoed and wrapped her hands around my neck to pull me down for my lips to meet her lips surprising me.
My heart began to throb painfully fast. I held a hand over my chest and winced. Camila looked at me. "Come back, Erica. We need you and I need you." I pulled Camila into an embrace. I didn't have to say anything this is just unavoidable. I still love Camila. I just couldn't wait for any further and went for a kiss which I have never thought I will be getting in my whole entire life. She has brought me back the emotion that I was afraid to do so.
"Live with me," I asked. "Be with me." I held onto her hand.
"More than anything else in the world it's to be able to be with you," she smiles. Beside her is a suitcase she was already prepared to be here with me.
"You know, Camila, without having the opposite member of sex we can still make babies," I teased. Camila blushed. "Are you really ready," I asked. "You'll have to fave all kinds of danger if you're with me."
She nods. "I am equally prepared for what's going to happen next. More importantly, I know you'll love us both equally and know that you'll protect us."
I pulled her into a hug. "Sorry for being selfish."
She shook her head. "It's what Fay and I have come to terms with. We want you. We can't let go. This is our decision."
I let my fingers slipped underneath the chin and I puller head up as I captured her lips at every second. They were soft, moist, and luscious within every breath it was passionate and magical. How long have I waited for this moment? It's like I am living inside a dream. Out of breath, we pulled away and I caressed her cheeks as she stared at me nervously.
"Welcome," I whispered. "To the Lumia Family."
