CHAPTER VI: Flirt
We just spent hours together without talking. I still can't process everything that happened earlier. I'm still confused though. How does he like me? I mean, we just met weeks ago. Isn't it too fast?
Now, we are on our way home and still, no one dared to talk. The confession he did earlier made us very awkward to each other. Well, who won't, right?
We are already nearing our house when he slowed down.
"Why? We're nearly there." I turned to him.
"Are you uncomfortable with me?" he asked while his eyes are on the road.
I was shocked at his question. So I just answered.
"To be frank, a little bit. No big deal."
"I'm sorry about earlier. I know it was an impulsive decision but I will not let this opportunity pass while you are still single." He smiled a bit.
"And why is that?" I chuckled.
"I'm worried that someone might confess to you before I do that's why I took the chance that we're alone." He said.
We arrived at the front gate of our house but I'm still here inside his car. I actually enjoyed talking to him.
"How can you say that? I didn't even expect you to like me." I smiled.
"It's not impossible Blaire. With a girl like you that is kind, sweet, and pure, it's impossible not to like you." He praised me.
I just laugh because I don't know. Maybe what he said is true, or maybe it is not.
"May I ask why you are feeling uncomfortable with me?" he sounded serious and it's making me intimidated.
"It's just that, I think it's too sudden. We've just met weeks ago and now you are asking me if it is okay to court me. I just can take it all in one blow." I said truthfully.
"It's alright. No need to be pressured. I can wait." He smiled.
I just sighed and smiled at him.
Our eye contact was interrupted when someone knocked on my window side. I turned and my eyes widen when I saw Ty looking intently at use with his forehead creased.
I looked at my watch and thankfully it is not yet seven in the evening. So, I just rolled my window down and smiled widely at Ty.
"Are you still not going inside?" Ty asked me.
"Yes. I am now." I said as I got outside of the car.
"Hey, I had fun. Thanks to you." I looked at Cameron then chuckled.
"No problem. I'm just one call away." he said.
"Dude, you're gross. Stop flirting with my sister." Ty cringed.
"You're just jealous dude! Come here baby, let me hug you." Cameron baby talked Ty while opening his arms widely.
"Fuck off." Ty said. We just laughed at him getting irritated.
"Let's go now, Blaire. It's already getting dark." Ty held my hand then pulled me inside our house.

I just got out of the shower when I heard a knock on my door.
"Blaire? Can I come in?"
Oh, it was Ty.
"Yeah. The door's open!" I shouted.
I was ruffling my hair with dry towel when the door creaked open and Ty came in.
"Princess, can we talk?" he softly said while sitting down at the corner of my bed. I just nodded and walked my way to him.
"What is it?" I asked as I sat down beside him.
"Hey, you know you can talk to me about anything right?" he said. I just nodded as a sign of agreement.
"I was just wondering, what's with you and Cameron. I mean, I have no problem with that but I just want you to open up to me." He said.
"Okay, here is the thing Ty. Cameron just confessed to me earlier about his feelings for me but I'm not sure whether to believe him or not." I played with my fingers. Because this is actually the first time I opened up to him regarding with my love life.
I swear, I just saw how his eyes darkened.
"Cameron needs a good beating huh? I told him not to flirt with you." He seriously said.
"Chill Ty, he told me that he's serious about me and that he's willing to wait until I'm ready to love again." I smiled at him.
"Just… just don't let him break you. Ayt? I'm always here. If you want someone to talk to, I'm just her, okay?" he said.
"Okay." I said as he pinched my cheeks.
I'm so grateful to have a brother like him. Sweet and caring. I remembered when I was just a junior in our school, all the girls are literally eyeing me like they wanted me to die. I think at that time, they didn't know that Ty has a sister and they thought of me as his girlfriend because he's extra sweet to me. And mind you, Ty is one hell of a heartthrob at our school.
"Okay then, goodnight Blaire." He said then leaned on me to kiss my forehead. After that, he stood up and left my room.
Somehow, my heart felt lighter after I told him the incidence earlier. I didn't even imagined him being cool about me and Cameron. He's not like that when I told him about Audrey.

I'm walking right now towards our school when someone beeped beside me. I jerked to my side when I noticed a car which I assume that is following me.
I sighed when I realized that it's just Cameron.
What would people say when they see us huh? It's been days when he started trolling me with his car. I just said that we should keep it low key that he is courting me. Yes, he followed my order by not walking me to school or eating lunch with me. But this thing he kept of doing is giving me chills. Like someone's watching me from afar.
I was nearing the gate when I saw the gang. It's been a month huh? It's been a month since we last talked to each other. Right now, I don't know how to act in front of them.
"Hey." They all said in unison when I reached them.
I just stared at them.
"We're sorry little Blaire." Aspen said softly.
I don't know but with that one sorry from them made all the hatred from me flew away in an instant. So I jumped onto them and hugged them.
"She's a freakin' flirt."
"How dare she flirt with five guys at a time."
"She even dared to date our prince Cameron."
"She have the guts to come here at school after she made it to the headline."
"Does she even know what's happening around her?"
"She's all around social media and yet she has the guts to face the entire school?"
I stopped hugging them when I heard the murmurs.
W-Wait, w-what? Me on social media? Oh boy. I have a feeling that this is not good.
