Chapter 5 - Angel Sergio

"Mr Smith for the last time please stop staring. I'll just apply make up and voila" Mia waved a hand in front of her face "all this bruises will disappear"

She continued eating. Her apatite was piqued after seeing the large amount of food on the dining table. She was famished, fighting that girl had exhausted her. Ok let her rephrase that. Getting beat up by that girl had exhausted her.

One day she was going to have more skills and beat...what was it grandma called her...oh right. Sisley.

Mr Smith didn't stop looking at Mia. He didn't believe that makeup would clear the black bruises on her face. He was thanking God that she wasn't white like her mom or else he was completely done for. He was already drafting his resignation letter in his mind. He wasn't going to take any chance with Taylor Martin.

"Stop looking at my granddaughter Raymond, if you still value your head" Sara said.

Mr Smith bent his head down so fast that a slight crack was heard. He was afraid of Taylor but he feared the jolly grandma Martin more. He'd heard rumors upon rumors of what she had done when she was in the military.

He cussed his foul luck for having a stupid brother who recommended him to this family of bloodsuckers. If not the good pay he would have turned in his resignation letter a long time ago. Even though now he was seriously considering it given the...black look of things.

He dug into the lasagna and was happy that the old lady didn't have strict rules on food like Major Taylor. He shuddered when he remembered broccoli week. Urgh. The Major makes them eat vegetables and only when they had guests would they eat something meat related.

"Ok I'm all done" Mia announced pushing away from the table. Her plate was clean as though she licked it. "Thank you grandma, Mr Tariq"

She bounded off up the stairs to fix her face.

"I trust that everything is in place" Sara said and folded her slim dark fingers.

"Yes ma'am. I attached the tracker to her cloth and it will automatically turn on when it detects that it is in as different country" the soldier replied.

"Perfect. I want eyes on her as soon as it turns on. You know what create new identities for our best ten females and get them to follow her everywhere" Sara said and stood up to go to the living room.

"Yes ma'am" the soldier nodded and turned to leave.

"Wait a minute" Sara called out.

"Mrs Martin?"

"Bring Sisley here I have a job for her"

"Yes ma'am" the soldier saluted smartly and left.

"What do you plan on doing Sara?" Noah asked.

"I can't have my baby running around in the wild. This world is more dangerous than she knows and I would like to send Sisley to enroll at the same university"

"Don't you think she'll be mad if she finds out?"

"Of course not. Its her duty to work for me" Sara immediately countered.

"I was talking about Cookie"

"Oh"

"If she wanted you to know I'm sure she would've told you. I hope you're not pushing your buttons too hard"

"I just want her to be safe. I can sense that something is off and I need to be there for her. Thats why I'm sending Sisley"

"Hm"

"Is something wrong, Noah?"

"Not-nothing its just that I get the chills when I see Sisley. There's something off abut her. Where did she come from again?"

Sara sighed. "She's Taylor's niece. Sidney came to ask me to train her on Taylor's behalf. Couldn't say no. But I checked, she's clean"

"Or maybe thats what someone wants us to think" Noah mumbled.

"What was that?"

"Er...nothing"

Sara smiled and sat down on a posh cream sofa. "Can I have a fruit salad?"

"Coming right up" Noah went to the kitchen.

"Hahahaha....haha..." the laughter of a young girl rang out in the room. "Oh it never gets old"

Mia removed the comms from her ear and stared at it. She'd gotten it from the girl while they—she was getting beat up.

So they think they're smart huh? Well I'm smarter. And nastier. "tehehehe"

She sat down on the stool in front of the vanity mirror and started applying foundation to the bruises. It took some time because this girl had made sure to leave a lasting impression but she was no match for the power of makeup.

After thirty minutes or more she was through. She then noticed some funny movements behind her and had tried using the mirror to see who it was. She saw the wall moving and knew that someone was in the room. But she wasn't in the mood to play so she stood up and ran out.

"Why did she run just now?" a female voice asked.

A petite figure dressed in a baby blue that matched the wall emerged from the wall and removed the mask. Sisley snarled at the vanity mirror and punched it, smashing the mirror to pieces. "You want to run away fine. But don't think of returning. If you return then my name isn't Angel Sergio" she smiled a sinister one.

"Agent Reed Mrs Martin asked to see you" she heard in her comms.

She pressed a button. "Copy"

She looked at the broken mirror and the shards. After on deep breath she went to the bed and knelt down. She peered under the bed and removed a duffel bag. She unzipped it and removed clothes. She went to the bathroom and changed before heading downstairs.

"Mrs Martins" Sisley stood with her hands clasped behind her and her feet slightly apart.

"Yes, Sisley. I have a job for you" Sisley nodded for grandma Martin to continue although the older lady wasn't even looking at her. "You mentioned that you're 22 years old?"

"Yes ma'am" Sisley wondered what her age had to do with the job.

"And you're yet to go to college?"

Sisley sneered. She should have known the old hag just wanted to mock her. "Yes....ma'am"

"Good. I want you to follow Cookie and make sure she's safe"

"Safe?"

"Yes. I fear for her life. There are many who wish to cut short the Martins bloodline. So she will be in great danger" Sara looked at Sisley for the first time since she came down. "I'm entrusting her to you. Take care of her"

"Of course. I will take care of her in the best way" Sisley smiled, dazzling all the people present with her beauty. She had always made sure to use her pale skin to look fragile.

Sisley sneered in her heart at all the looks that the men present were giving her.
