LORES' POINT OF VIEW
"Hey, Lores, you alright?" I hear a voice ask as they placed a hand on my shoulder that made me flinch.
I looked back and saw that it was my boyfriend, Treyton, "Oh, hey, Babe, I didn't notice you" I said, forcing a smile.
"You haven't noticed me these past few months," He says, sitting beside me, "What's up? Tell me what's bothering you" He cooes, holding my hands in his.
I took a deep breath and sighed, looking at the floor, "It's Mallory, she hasn't come home yet" I say.
"Mallory as in the girl that left her house in your hands without no apparent reason?" He described that made me giggle.
"Yeah, her" I nodded.
"Has she contacted you by any means?" He continued to ask.
"Yeah, she did, she does, actually. She calls me at least once or twice. In some occasions, thrice every two weeks, asking how I've been," I explained, "But, she never tells me where she is, the last place she told me she was in, was in that Mystery Number Girl, named Abbeigh" I say.
"Mystery Number Girl?" He asked.
"Don't worry, Mallory knows her, said that her family took care of her while her parents was away on business trips" I say.
"Have you ever spoken to this Abbeigh?" He asked.
I nodded, "Yeah, she's the one who told me where Mallory is, said that she was watching TV while we were on the call" I say.
"Well, if she's in good hands, then you shouldn't be worried" Trey says, hugging me.
"But, her presence just vanished like a bubble, and what's worse, she didn't get any of her clothes or stuff. The only traces of people in her apartment was me" I say, "She would've come back at least to tell me if she's moving in with Abbeigh" I sighed.
"What day does Mallory usually call you?" Trey asks.
"Either Tuesdays or Thursdays" I respond.
"Then, just ask her if she's already moved in and doesn't need her stuff here anymore. Don't jump into conclusions just yet," Trey says, stroking my hair, "We need to know more information about the two of them before we ask for more help" He continues, "We wouldn't just want to barge in Abbeigh's house when there's nothing bad happening to Mallory, we'd look like fools to the authorities, if that happens" He finished.
I took a deep sigh and smiled at him, "You're right, I shouldn't just go around without enough proof, Thanks, Trey" I say, pecking his lips, as I relax in his arms.
