The first few trials have been pretty easy for most of the candidates since it only involves fetching some things with monsters in the area, showing their magical strength by defeating monsters assigned to them, and showing their credibility as deities by executing level five spells to show their prowess as well.
Now, the moment of truth has arrived. The last part of the trials would be held shortly after the candidates have been sent for a quick rest backstage. As of now, out of ten candidates participating, only eight are now left after the two have been eliminated for failing to defeat the monster assigned to each of them.
As we wait for the candidates to return to the arena, we heard others talking literally right behind us.
"Is it true that the third phase of the trials involves killing?" one girl around my age asked with long, wavy blonde hair to two of her friends sitting on both her sides.
