My shoulders slumped while my head titled down as I remember my almost-successful moment earlier in the practice field. Like, I am so close to being a rank A deity and having my personal wand! Why is fate always in my way?!
It is now past one in the afternoon and we just have our lunch when I went back to practicing that last basic spell that I had so much trouble executing earlier. Aiden decided to go with me and watched my progress. But even though how much I tried, I still fail, over and over again.
"Why am I such a failure?!" I exclaimed in frustration.
"No, you're not." Aiden quickly responds. "You just need much more experience in magic, that's all."
I folded my arms over my chest and arched one eyebrow at him. "It is easier for you to say that since you already acquired the highest rank in magic ever made possible."
