Clouds dominate the morning sky leaving transitory patches of blue as I looked up to view the skies above upon leaving my tent the next day. Though they are mostly white, there is a hint of greyness, a suggestion that rain may play a part in the day to come.
Yawning, I went towards the dining place where I saw other members of the crew already eating their breakfast. Upon seeing me, Aiden motioned for me to sit beside him and so I did after getting my meal for the day.
"Good morning." he greeted, which I also greeted back then started to dig in with my food.
"We already started packing things for our journey. Have you packed as well?" Aiden spoke once again.
I only gave him a blank look. "I don't have things, remember?"
I only heard him saying "Oh right." before going back to what he is eating. All remained silent after that.
