-Someone's POV-
"WHAT?! Did you just say she defeated our battalion of soldiers all alone?!"
King Tiberius' raging voice echoed all throughout the four corners of our high council room. With his deadly stare, he looks down at the remaining soldiers who managed to survive from the failed Ziv Village raid.
*BANG!*
His fist hit the top of our table with so much force that we almost jumped from our seats.
As you may have guessed, we are now having a grand council meeting, and the main agenda for today's meeting is none other than capturing that witch who is now under the king's careful watch.
And her name's Charm...
"Because you failed to lead your troops in capturing her, I shall demote you from your position as the captain right this instance!" Rage from the king still continued to flow like lava as he looked directly at the captain.
The former captain didn't dare to complain nor to look up at the king and remained glued to the ground.
"I think they're heading east, though we are not sure why... you're highness." We heard one soldier explain his theory.
That immediately sparked the king's attention, and soon enough he's now in his own deep thoughts.
"If I'm not mistaken..." he finally spoke once again as he rubbed his chin. "That witch is trying to revive the springs of the ancient deities."
Oh? She's on a quest of reviving the springs? Hmmm... I bet things here would be more interesting than I thought.
Perhaps, I can use this witch to help me fulfill my plans.
"And I think they are headed now to Belmont City where an ancient deity's temple can be found as well." the king added, with a smirk plastered on his face.
"If that is the case, shall we raid the Belmont City upon their arrival, your Highness?" suggested by one of the councilors.
"After what happened in Ziv Village, I say we will wait for an opportunity to strike...in cases they will surely not expect."
I placed one hand on top of my table then rested my head there as I took in the king's words. I'm quite surprised our king has brains after all.
As expected, I then saw the king jerked his head on the right to look at me.
"And I know someone who can help me with that."
A smirk also crawled up on the corner of my lips as I locked gazes with the king.
"Just tell me what to do... your Highness."
