We all shouted Aiden's name as we ran our way towards the lad. Soon enough, we all saw him lying flat on the ground while one hand stretched forward and blasted a huge fireball towards the enemy, while the other one was holding to its swollen ankle that is now turning blue or purple.
The monster, in turn, turned to ashes upon contact with Aiden's fire.
We all hurried towards his direction with Leo examining his left ankle.
"He was definitely hit by the scorpion's stinger. And we must find the cure to the poison immediately before we lose him."
I gasped upon hearing that.
No…. not again! Not Aiden!
I turned around and saw the still dumbfounded woman standing on our right.
"Please, can you lead us to your village? We would like to save our friend." I almost pleaded with her.
