It was afternoon when we decided to rest for a while after all the walk that we've been through for the last couple of hours ever since we left Zalfari.
Meelo was kind enough to offer earlier to shapeshift for us so that it would make our trips a bit faster than walking by foot.
But Leo, the most practical one in the group, suggested not to waste mana and only shapeshift in certain emergency situations.
We settled our tents in a vacant spot under the shade of the woods and started digging in to the food that Meelo's mother prepared for our journey. And then we ate in silence.
"Wow. So this is the feeling of traveling huh?" Meelo asked enthusiastically.
"Yes. Isn't it great?" Aiden added to his enthusiasm.
"Adventures are not always fun, kid." Leo decided to destroy the kid's energetic mood, as expected of him. "We met new friends…. and also new enemies along the way. No one could tell what perils await us."
