Grey skeptically eyed Red and Blond. It doesn't feel like they're lying but they certainly are. How could they outright lie like that without any hint of guilt or uneasiness? Grey wondered but he kept it at the back of his mind. He overheard Red and Blond's verbal exchange and he thinks that his survival would greatly increase if he sticks with them.
Well, they really are reliable. Just a simple lie and they almost made me doubt myself. Grey smiled to himself.
Meanwhile, Red and Blond were thinking the same thing. the gray-haired kid just straight up lied on their faces without a shred of shakiness in his voice. He must be a professional liar. Red and Blond concluded.
With everything laid on the table, Red, Blond, and Grey forged their friendship on a single misunderstanding which they won't know until later.
