"Where's Curl?"
The two-word question was enough to shake the very foundations of Blond's mind. He was too focused on leading the group out of the maze as fast as possible that he didn't even notice Curl's disappearance.
Without a second to spare, Blond picked himself up and rushed back inside the maze, hoping that the short time that elapsed wouldn't put Curl that far from the exit.
The group wanted to stop Blond but before they could speak, Blond was already closing the exit door behind him. The rest of the group contemplated whether they should follow Blond inside or not but in the end, they concluded to choose the latter.
Deep inside, they knew that they would just be a burden for Blond if they insisted on going with him.
"Argh! I should've gone with him!" Scar clenched his fists in frustration. "If he's not out of that door in three minutes, I'm going in.
