Just like how Claude and the others first reacted upon seeing the state of the Asterisk first-hand, Red and Freckles had their mouths gaped open as they entered the broken entranceway to the Asterisk. It was the same entrance which Red's Unit entered a few hours ago.
The reason why it was even more worn down than before was because of the overflowing Humanoids that passed through there. A few hours ago, the entranceway was still standing but now, even a portion of the Walls was broken. Red concluded that a Horde of Humanoids must've caused the damage and he wasn't far-off from the truth. In his estimates, he could tell that there more than a hundred Humanoids that passed through there, not to mention the other entrances that seemed to be broken as well.
"What ha— mmph!" Before Freckles could finish her sentence, she felt Red's hand on his mouth.
