Chapter 259 - The Face

Julia didn't waste any time pulling Jarxen away from where he planted the bomb. He didn't even realize that he was standing point-blank on the bomb that he himself planted. Fortunately, Julia was there to snatch him from death when he was supposed to die at that time.

The explosion made the ground and the walls rumble, but it wasn't enough to fell the Wall altogether. Rather, it just left a small hole, barely enough for the Dodge Tomahawk to fit in.

"Thanks for the save," Jarxen muttered as his face reddened. His face was so close to Julia that he instinctively backed away and stood up. After all, he was on top of her and he could tell that Julia was having a hard time breathing. "I shouldn't have let my mind fly off like that. Phew! I almost died back there!"

"Be more careful, will you. If I weren't here, then you'd have died so stupidly. Good for you, you managed to dodge such an idiotic death."
