"We have to get out of here, right now."
After saying that, Hubert picked up the pace and made a beeline towards the nearest building. If they get there without getting noticed by any of the entities inside the buildings, they would be safe. And then, it would just be a waiting game for the group.
At least, they won't be in any deep trouble and if ever the entities didn't go out of the surrounding buildings, they could just go outside, head towards the next nearest building, and stay there, then do it all over again. That way, they could still travel while attracting minimal attention to themselves.
Unfortunately, luck wasn't on their side.
Before Hubert and his group reached the nearest building, a Superior Humanoid came out from a corner and blocked their path. It was a miscalculation on Hubert's end since he didn't expect a humanoid to appear from there. By the time it showed up, there was already no turning point.
