Outside, A few kilometers from the Tunnel
The Block that was expected to win in the Runners Survivors were now reduced to four people as they neared the tunnel filled to the brim with humanoids. After having lost their leader in a snap of a finger, they lost two other teammates in the process. Not to say that they weren't being careful but they became extremely cautious to the point that no danger could catch them in surprise.
But what could four people do in the midst of a massacre? Nothing. That's the argument behind how they lost their teammates to the merciless humanoids.
Since their Leader disappeared as soon as Runners Survivors started, their HQ had to replace the Leader's place. Just like in the case of Blond in Block-16, the HQ is not really the fit and energetic type. After all, the role of HQ is all about the brains, not the brawns.
